“One City, Two Visions”

The 464 Gallery is pleased to present One City, Two Visions by Buffalo photographers Christina Laing and Chuck Alaimo.
One City: This new body of work is a collaborative exploration into the urban environments of the City of Buffalo. Both artists use their lenses to capture the essence of our urban world, seeking beauty in decay.
Two Visions: In this collective body of work, the artists explore all areas of Buffalo, from decayed industrial sites to well-known historical landmarks. Though drawn to similar subject matter, there are many differences in style and composition unique to each photographer. While Christina casts her eye on the abandoned and forgotten, Chuck lends his eye to both the well-known and the obscure elements of the city we love.

Urban Thermodynamics

iPrintfromHome.com is pleased to present Urban Thermodynamics by Buffalo photographer, Chuck Alaimo. This new body of work is an exploration into the beauty we take for granted in our urban world. The exhibit will be his first show with iPrintfromHome.com and will be comprised of small to medium pieces using various tech...niques of HDR processing. The opening reception of Urban Thermodynamics will be held at iPrintfromHome.com on January 28th, from 5-9. The exhibit will be on display through February, 19th and is free and open to the public.

Chuck Alaimo’s pieces will feature a technique and processing known as HDR photography (High Dynamic Range). Using this technique Chuck creates images full of color and wonder, possessing an almost supernatural glow.
